Olivia Wells is a lover of story telling and story writing. She lives in the heart of rural Hampshire. "Stories and Poems in the Moment" - Night Publishing – is her first published work and she has two further books in the making.

Olivia is a graduate of the International School of Storytelling at Emerson College in Sussex, and a member of the Society for Storytelling. Olivia has appeared as a regular guest teller on Unity 101 Community Radio Southampton, and is a joyous attendee at Southampton Story Club. She has told stories around the fire at Free Spirit camp run by Active Arts of Southampton, and also shared her own stories and poems at Moving Voices - an open mike session at the Art House Southampton, and also at competitive poetry and story sessions at the Winchester Discovery Centre.

'Stories … And Poems … In The Moment … ' is exactly that, a series of short stories and verse which explore the world below its surface and which seek to bring out the enlightenment and wisdom of those who wander its pathways with the realisation that, whatever joys and sorrows we encounter, there is always a hopeful future ahead of us.

The stories do not have neat endings. They recount the first stages of quests which are infinite but which can only succeed if the first steps are sure.

We hope that you will find these stories and poems as entrancing and insightful as we do, and that you find a little bit of yourself in them along the way.
